The anatomy building is Oslo's oldest half-timbered house and parts of the house dates from 1640. It is a location with a long history, but from 1937 the house has been in the art and service of culture. The UKS, the young artists' community held here from 1937 - 2003 and many lifelong friendships were formed here between artists,
