Blaafarvevaerket Exhibition
May - September 2004
The old tradition of tapestry relates to a period of buildings that were constructed from large timbers
and here you can see some of the artist's tapestry work set in such an 'old' framework.

Blaafarvevaerket (Blue colour works) was an old mining business that extracted Cobalt. In recent years this centuries old complex was turned into an art and culture centre which enjoys great popularity
situated as it is just a relatively short, country drive from Oslo. Ideal for a summer's day out.

The complex provides many facilities and attracts in excess of 150,000 visitors a year (in 2003 the number exceeded 180,000 - source NRK 20/10/2003)

Ragnhild's lengthy exhibition attracted much interest and this was complemented by occasional guided
tours by the artist herself.
